Counseling session went fairly well, I think. An added bonus to that is the fact that the career counselor Dr. Segady recommended to me gave me a call and told me that it wouldn't hurt if we just talked and saw what my options are.
Since I'm at a loss of what do write as far as journal entries go, I think I'll make some rants, straight from the Book of Questions.
If you were havi9ng difficulaty on an important test and could safely cheat by looking at someone else's paper, would you do so?
As much as I am loath to admit, I already have. It's not something I'm proud of, especially since the person next to me did as badly as I have.
If your parents became infirm and the only alternative to bringing them into your home was to put them in a nursing home, would you do so?
Man, my mom has guilted me about that time and again. She always said stuff along the lines of "you'll just stick me in a nursing home where they'll just abuse me." But honestly, nobody in my family has gotten so infirm to where they had to receive care from somebody else, so the thought never occured to me.
I'll probably do some reading and laundry before the night is over. It would also be nice to have someone to cuddle with, since doctorv can't cuddle with me, but what are you going to do?
