Update

Edit: This was meant to be posted a few nights ago, but Livejournal was acting super weird and did not post it. So I am going to re-try to post it now.

So I havent really posted to livejournal in a long, long time. I felt like giving a little update, mainly because I am bored and its past 2am.

Anyway, I have been working at a high school for 2 years now. I am a tutor and I help mainly with algebra and history. History is my specialty, but the kids mainly have problems with math. The job itself is fun and quite easy, however it is a bad job in terms of compensation. I say that because we hardly ever get paid on time. By we I mean the tutors. Payroll for some reason always screws up our paychecks. It has gotten to the point where getting paid on time is just a pleasant surprise, but we always expect to not get paid on time. The system they use to process our pay is very outdated. We have to fill out time cards every day and each time card has to be signed by our supervisor in order to get processed. Then that person's supervisor has to sign it and sends it to district. Once at district that time card gets signed yet again by the HR department before it is processed. Its a pain in the ass and each person that has to sign it doesnt want to sign it. I dont know why as it is their job, but I am just some little speck at the bottom of the totem pole so my complaints go unheard. After the school year ends I dont know if I will return to the school. Its a shame because I am a very good tutor and it is a very fun job(just dealing with the kids and tutoring them.)

Outside of that I have been building a new computer. It has taken me several months but I have all the core components done and it is a very godly build. Ruben and I jokingly try to outdo each other by trying to get better parts for our computers. It has cost me quite the pretty penny though. I wont say how much it costs, but I will say that it is very much worth it.

I have taken a few trips over the past year. I have been to Las Vegas. Its the third time I have been there. I won $100 lol. I also went to Flagstaff twice. First time to see the Cardinals training camp in august and then the day after christmas to see the snow. It was the first time I ever saw snow so it was very cool. It was very deep, it went past my knees!

In terms of my life, it has been pretty boring. I have a very small circle of friends, but that is by choice. Im not into having a big group of friends. Sure, I have a lot of people that I know, but very few that I would call my friends. My circle of real friends is small, but I can trust those people. Trust and loyalty is very important to me. I trust them and they can trust me.

My next goal in life is to save more money. I know I have spent money on this computer build. But after this project I dont plan on spending money on things like that. I want to save up as much money as possible. It is for no real reason, just to practice financial responsibility. The school year is almost over so I have to think about looking for a job. I know I would be offered a job again at the high school, but like I said I dont know if I want to work there anymore. If that is the case then I have to start looking for another job. It sucks because I like working at the school because I get the same breaks that the students get and I dont have to work weekends. Those are some great perks.

I still have my 1990 Nissan Pathfinder and it still purrs like a walrus! I love my car.

Now I am nitpicking as I dont know what else to write about lol. Maybe I will just end it there. Thanks, Livejournal. Maybe I will post again, but dont
