How awesome to hear from you! I was just thinking of you the other day, tend to whenever I book a flight to OTT for one of the office staff. I so hope your news will be of the awesome kind {{{{{sending good, non-jinxing vibes}}}}}

How's the pup? I bet not a puppy anymore LOL. Neither is mine - he'll be 2 next month. RL is... complicated and draining so I try to offset that as much as possible with fun milestones to look forward to. Hubs and I went away for our first vacation together sans dogs since before we had dogs. Just to BC for a week but it was awesome. I just got back from TN visiting a longtime fandom friend too (from my Mag7 days). Tonight I ordered tickets for a cirque show (not "de Celine" LOL) for month end and then... I dunno. I'll need something else to look forward to beyond then. Been writing -- for a non-existent fandom. Leave it to me ::facepalm:: Still, it feels good to have the juices flowing even if only 8 or 10 people are reading. Fell head over heels in love with the Conlon bros. in Warrior (Messrs. Hardy & Edgerton) and obsessed over them for a few months, though oddly no fic inspiration came out of that. Highly recommend the movie to you, if you haven't seen it. Talk about a family with angst! Ignore any misconceptions that it's a MMA fight film. 'Tis sooooo much more ♥

Still watching the Winchesters but with less fervor and/or regularity. Love Justified, Game of Thrones, am *finally* watching The Wire (brilliant!!!), not much else with a passion, though still spend too much time in front of the damn TV. That's all from me - plenty, I know - but it's sooo good to hear from you. Fingers and toes are crossed ;).

Eeeeeee! It's you! Awesome.

The puppy is not a puppy anymore, though he definitely acts like he is. He's such a joy to walk, because he's so goddamn happy ALL THE TIME. Not a bad bone in the dog. Honestly, I adore him so much. He's pretty bouncy when he's outside, but mellow enough when he's hanging out in the house. Loves everyone and everything, except the cats, so that's the only outstanding issue.

Oh, yes, I can see how you'd get stuck on Warrior. Very easily. I thought Hardy was great -- so massive and inarticulate. My only gripe with the movie was that Nick Nolte disappeared from the last act. What? Did they not pay him or something? There he was, central (and awfully good) in the whole first three-quarters of the movie, and then poof! it's like he didn't matter in the end. Anyway, I didn't let that spoil it for me. I still don't think much of MMA (I have friends that are SUPER into it and try to explain it to me...whatever), but the family dynamic is a really great one.

Yay! The Wire! So so so...great. Just. Great. Season four gutted me.

More soon! I hope!
