Summary: Something evil is killing treeplanters in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, possibly the same predator that Dean narrowly escaped years before. How Grimm will things get before the brothers figure it out?
Obligatory Blahblah: One day, Kripke will realize that I’ve been feeding him the best story ideas that money can buy…like, for no

I am so creeped out, and so incredibly impressed with this. Your visuals are so stunning, so descriptive. Damn near perfect. I'm right there in the truck with Dean on the way up the mountain. Right there on the mountain with Sam and his poor, abused fingers and feet. And, damn, right there in that cafe, when the wolf comes in. And later, in the camp with Lori, and trying not to remember, and oh, hell, Dean, REMEMBER!! Damn, Damn, Damn...I've got goosebumps, and not the shitty kind. *g*
Kripke!! Pay attention!! There's GOLD here! GOLD!!
( I also love your description of what Dean could do with a chainsaw, cause...uh, Bloodlust. Yikes, you are clairvoyant.)

I squealed like a little pink pig when Dean used the chainsaw in Bloodlust. I'm surprised you didn't hear me -- cause I'd already written it and now I'm checking all my closets and under my bed for Kripke. Goddamn man's making me paranoid.

I love the absolute overwhelming and utterly creeped-out reaction that certain people have to this...person. People. Heh.
And Sam didn't quite hit 1000 trees...and Dean saying 'it's all true' and the insane driving and the flashbacks, dear gods, that *both* of them make me want to cuddle the boys and tell Dean it's *okay* he doesn't have to do this by himself and...Sam's a book-thief now! and...and....
I luff this story.
:)
Muchly.

And, yeah. Sammy the Book-Thief. Fate worse than death for the little guy.

And a special thanks to you and all writers who take the time to proof and beta (bless you!) and give us nice long chunks! I'd rather be patient and wait for something like this, than the too-short error-prone installments you sometimes see from others. So thanks again to you AND your betas!

This did take some time, next one faster, I hope. I don't have a vacation in the middle of it, anyway.

I have a feeling that I'm going to need a trip along the Whiskey Trail myself before this is over. I'm sending you my bar tab.

I'm not too sure WHO deserves the bar tab on this one, my dear: Kripke, Jensen, or Lemmypie, for egging me on.
