i had an appointment with my OB today. we discussed what's going on with my blood sugar and the heart palpitations/shortness of breath. her thinking is that i'll stay on the aldomet they put me on, AND resume taking the inderal - but ultimately the decision is up to the cardiologist. speaking of which, they called me to set up and appointment today, i see them on april 9.
until then, i'm not supposed to walk any more than is absolutely necessary, not to lift anything heavier than 15 pounds, etc etc. it's going to be a long month.
the ob did tell me today that my weight gain (or lack of) is excellent. since my first visit 12 weeks ago, i've gained a half pound. she said the baby is 60th percentile right now. she weighed 6 oz. as of last friday, and all of her measurements look great.
i asked about scheduling my c-section and she said we're probably not going to be able to schedule it. starting around week 36 or 37 we'll start taking it on a week-to-week basis. with the complications i have, it may come down to a "we have to do this NOW" kind of issue.
overall not the worst news in the world, but it's been a long day.
