THANKSGIVING!!!!
next to Christmas, thanksgiving is the best...
well... actually first christmas, then halloween, THEN thanksgiving...
so today i've got a dinner at my aunts place, which is going to be kind of weird cause like a third of my family isn't going to be there because they are (a)in florida or (b) in a baseball tournament or (c)had another dinner to go to. and it's going to be a big formal sit down kind of dinner, which we're totally not used to becasue we always ALWAYS have a pot-luck buffet kind of thing where we just sit with our plates in our laps.
meh, food is food. doesn't really matter where you eat it, right?
then tomorrow i've got my other family's dinner to go to in kitchener... which is always amazing. the dinners there are SO good, it's not even funny. it sucks tho casue i've got to work from 10:30 till 3:15 or maybe 4 which means i have to haul ass out to kitchener and get there by like 5, so i get left overs and make it just in time for dessert.
and also i think sharon is having her dinner on sunday night now too, so i have to see what's going on with that...
tonight rob is having people over to his house. i got my coors light cause i have to watch the calorie intake. seriously, i do. light beer isn't that bad...
we went to craig's party last night. it was good, lots of people, very social. everybody was pretty much talking to everybody else. craigs g/f colleen apparantly has a twin that i didn't know about (i probably did and just forgot) so i'm a bit tipsy and colleen is sitting beside me... and all of a sudden i look up and i see colleen#2 standing right in front of me.
i almost shat my pants i was so freaked out. then it made sense and i got over it... but still.
school is going amazingly... i really like all my classes and i'm meeting a bunch of new people, so that's cool. i'm taking a professional writing class that is the best fucking class i think i've ever taken. you get to be so creative and write about whatever you want, and it's just interesting to learn everything that we're being taught cause it's practical stuff that you'd want to know, you know?
alright, that's it. i just talked to my cousin jess that i haven't talked to in like a year. i think she's going to end up like my aunt kathy - one of those 'i had a dream once, but then i got married/preggers and wound up living in the sticks in no-mans-land Canada' but i could be wrong...
that's it. i have to go set up a hotmail account for my bro so he can get MSN and talk to all his little friends.
