Everything's different. Nothing's the same as it was before. Everything's morphing, changing, becoming something new. Each tomorrow brings new challenges, experiences, obsticles which change us, alter us, affect us. None of us were the same yesterday. WE lived. WE learned. Are we actually better because of it?
The world is trying to make us into these people, but is it better than the children we are now? Is ignorance bliss, or does true happiness come with knowledge? If so is there a limit to what we can learn? Can we only soak up so much until our brains are just full? Is there any way to weed out the useless information that clogs up our minds and ultimately drives us crazy?
"Not to depress you or anything, but I think a person reaches the peak of their happiness at four years old. I was driving and my son was in the back seat just staring out the window with this smile on his face. I said, "Joe, what you thinking about?" He says, "candy." Candy. What adult can say they can sit for 45 minutes and be content just thinking about candy. Seriously try it.
Mmmmm... candy... sugar... cavities...dentists...bills...money...poverty...AM I GAY???
Yeah, it always ends up at am I gay?"

Boy, am I philosophical today...
