Just Think of a Scorpion as a Desert Lobster
Man, I really want to go out on a date. But there aren't many prospects here in C-Town. I'll probably have to wait til I'm back in the Eug but even that may prove difficult with the RA position. I might ask Darcy again. Perhaps this time if she doesn't want to go she'll at least tell me 'no' instead of just "I'll see what I'm doing that day" and I never hear from her again.
I did see a pretty girl looking at comic books while I was up in Portland.
Blech.
Sunday I went to Eugene to go hang out with Laura. We wanted to do archery but the range was closed so we went to see the Simpsons movie. It was great. Laura's a really nice and beautiful person and I like spending time with her.
Nothing exciting happened today. I woke up at 3pm after staying up til 5am. I did leave my foil at the gym. That pissed me off. I hope nobody walks off with it. That sucker's expensive.
Nobody's online. I want to talk to someone. *fret*
I think next summer I may stay in Eugene and work for Quantum or University Catering. I think I might do better down there than I do up here. It's hard to give up my own independent life and come back home. I feel like I'm still a high school student when I'm here. That and if I work for one of them I will make far more than the $500 I made this summer at Blueberry Meadows.
I've gone on kind of a depression induced spending spree the last few weeks. I've bought a number of comic books. Three video games. A board game. Room decorations. Along with a number of other things I don't need. There are still a couple of movies that I'm looking for. 300 and ATHF:MFFT. That's another $40 there.
Well...I guess it isn't any different than last year. I bought three pc games last year and that totaled $60. I haven't payed more than $20 for any of the games I've bought so far. I can be cheap and really paranoid about money. I still have to buy about $200 worth of textbooks for this year. At least I get paid to do my RA work. That along with a return on student loans and I should be set for the year.
