He Shots!!! He Scores!!!

My company has finally given me an Offer Letter for a Full-time position. It took them three years and me handing in my resignation to realize that I am an asset to the department.

Details to the offer were surprising considering I've been on contract and I'm technically a new hire.

My dental and health coverage are available immediately. I thought I would have had to wait 3 to 6 month before they kicked in.

My vacation days have been bumped up to reflect the fact I've been with the company as long as I have. I can finally go away for a few weeks and not have to worry about paying my bills. (CUBA anyone?!?!)

I received a raise to compensate the over-time hours I'll be losing by move to my new position. And I will be receiving yearly bonus. (SWEET!!! >=J)

I can say good-bye to graveyard, weekend and 16 hour shifts. My new hours allow me to sleep in every morning (I'm in no way a morning person) and I'm done in time for some Prime-time TV watching. (Are Ross and Rachel together yet or what?)

I took the risk to see what I was worth to the company and it seems to have paid off. Now hopefully I can live up to my end and show them they made the right decision.

BTW when did companies start doing criminal record searches?!?! or are they just doing that for me?!?!
