happy birthday to me!!!
Yesterday was my birthday and it was probably one of the best ones I've ever had. It started out with presents from my family... a necklace (that's actually really cute) from Bob, an adorable top and a gift certificate at theraputic touch for an hour long massage from my mom, and an itunes giftcard from my sister. Later on I went to the irish rover with Kathleen and Olivia... we go every year on my birthday. After that we headed out to bardstown rd. to hang around and find me a birthday tiara which we ended up getting at Family Dollar. Then they bought birthday hats at Valu Mart and while walking back down bardstown rd. to get dessert, we ran into this middle aged man...probably late thirty's or something but he talked to us for a while then put on a birthday hat and then we got pictures with him. He had had a few too many mojitos but it was funny.
So we decided to get dessert at this new ice cream place behind Qdoba and they asked if it was my birthday because I was wearing the tiara and then they told me I could get anything I wanted for free so I got a medium so I wouldn't look greedy but when we finished that they brought out this freshly made belgian waffle piled high with ice cream and fruit. It was sooooo good and so free and I decided that that is my favorite place.
After that I went to see Ratatouille with a lot of people from school. NIck and Stephanie called up a whole bunch of people because I didn't realize my birthday was coming up so soon (sad, i know) and I hadn't planned anything. I liked the movie and it was great seeing everybody. After the movie I hung out with Paul and Graham and that's about it but I had so much fun and got to see so many people. It was a fantastic birthday and now I'm 18! yay!
