So my Siberian Husky and I went to a Humane Society fundraiser yesterday where we met a beautiful "Husky" available for adoption (I'd bet money she's a Siberian Husky + Alaskan Malamute mix, TBH). She had a few cosmetic flaws (she was picked up as a stray) which will heal with time, but when I went to visit her after-hours (and dogless) we took her outside to get a better look at her, pet her, observe her, etc. where she occasionally would pick up her back-left leg in a twitchy manor. Sometimes just up, sometimes a bit up and out. We asked the volunteer who told us "maybe she doesn't like it because it's wet (outside)" which I don't particularly buy.
Any ideas? Mannerism? Medical condition?
She looks like she's been on the streets for some time before coming in (burrs, scabs, raw ear tips, etc.). She's 53lb. She was also recently spayed.
