Challenge: Round 5, Challenge 4: Do you believe in fresh starts?

My last few answers to your questions have been a mite long-winded, so I will endeavor to answer this one in a more concise manner. After reflecting on the question for a spell, my answer is, simply, yes. As you know from my responses to your previous questions, my past weighs heavily on my conscience. I know that I am a sinner and I have done many heinous deeds during my time in this ‘verse. However, the Lord is always willing to forgive us. That knowledge gives me the strength to cast off my history and embrace the future, to strive to make the right choices and try to live as Jesus himself did.
If you do not believe me, look at my friend Jayne Cobb. Though far from a saintly man, I know that he has changed since I’ve known him and I know that he can and does make fresh starts all the time.
The past is only a memory now, and every day we have the God-given choice to begin fresh once again.
