I'd had a good few days, but now I was getting bored. I mean, hanging around with my new pet, having sex, killing people... It was all good clean fun, but it wasn't enough. Even S&M can get boring if you do it for long enough. Which is why Lilah's call came as such a pleasant surprise.
She wanted someone getting good and killed, apparently. I wasn't that interested at first, but it turns out he's that Doyle. Annoying Irish fella who hangs about with Angel giving him important messages from the other side. Seems I was going to kill the Powers That Be's radio. No problem here. Exactly why Lilah wants him dead I don't know. I didn't ask. Not really that interested, to be honest. I was going to kill one of Angel's little friends, and dance on his grave afterwards whilst Angel wept. The thought of it made my blood get hotter. I just love making Captain Broody miserable. Wolfram and Hart don't want Angel dead, which is a pain in the arse, cos I'd love to kill him. But to be honest, the thought of him being miserable and alive is actually better. The bastard put me through enough grief in my time. Now it's time for a little payback.
I managed to find out a few places where this Doyle hangs. Dives, mostly. He's not exactly the classiest of chaps. That was fine by me; I like dives. Always a good spot for a bit of killing.
I changed into a fresh pair of jeans and a shirt. Always nice to wear something clean to get new blood spots on.
"Pet?" I called out to Tara, who was in the shower, no doubt soaping down that lovely body of hers. "I've got someone to kill. Want to help?"
