spring break at last!!
yesterday was our 5 month anniversary!!! it's exciting!! it seems like we've been dating longer though. i know i say that everytime, but it's the truth! so spring break has officially started as of today. i didn't do anything too exciting. babysat from about 8-2, then headed down to anna's house about 3pm. hehe, fun times fun times!!! wesley had a game today that i was planning on going to, so anna was gonna come along for the ride to show me where to go and to keep me company at the game. since his family wasn't gonna be there. we had a good conversation on the way down there about ashleigh and how much she's changed since 8th, and even over the summer! hehe. she showed me where she used to live, the old school in newman. we finally get to shiloh school (i think it's the high school) which is actually in Hume,IL. i ended up passing all of the 2 entrances to the school parking lot, cuz i didn't know which one to turn into. we probably looked like dorks cuz there was a baseball team practicing and they just had to be on the side of outfield by the road. anyways, we finally get into the parking lot, and park in the back of the school. we had no idea where to go! it's a little country school that has NO parking lines or directions at all. so the whole, anna and i are cracking up cuz we're two blondes trying to park. hehe, it was fun though. when we finally get out of the car, we noticed that it was pretty empty out by the fields. it was already 4 o'clock and the game started at 4:15. we saw that a heritage bus (which is the school that wesley goes to)was there, but it didn't look like anyone from heritage was actually there. so we go back to my car after looking like idiots walking around in a school yard that we don't even go to, and i call wes's mom to see if she knew what was up. turns out that his game was in Marshall,IL!!! after hearing that, we were like, okay. now what? we had no idea where marshall was, and i had called my mom to ask her to look it up for us, but then she said that it was too far away and that i needed to be home by dark (6pm). so i start driving down the street we came from, and i just kinda drive and drive and drive. i had no idea where i was going, but anna said that tuscola was just up ahead. so guess what we did! we stopped at a gas station in tuscola to look at a map! we really wanted to know where marshall was and were gonna go to the game despite what my parents had said. hehe, i know, smart one on my part. not! well we find out that marshall is way far away. it's down by charleston, close to the border of IL and IN. after figuring that out, we gave up our little quest and headed back to anna's house. hehe, but before we left, i had a pen in my hand and threw it somehow in front of my face, so i screamed. anna got a kick out of that. i guess we could've gone to the mall, but i didn't want to use up all my gas. i'm already at a half a tank right now. i started out pretty much full this morning!!! oh well..i had fun while burning most of it!! hehe. today was fun! anna and i always have fun when i go down to her house. the first time i went down there we got invited to play some game in wes's p.e. class with all 8 of the students! and now today we drove around and were total blondes!!! welp, i better go now, cuz mom wants to show me stuff with the business. can you believe it!! gas prices this summer are probably gonna be like 2.50!!!!! that's insane!!!!!
