Felt the need....
Okay because of my shite state on Sunday I didn't give our victory against Royal High full credit. Fook aye I'm well chuffed with that. They beat us like 88-0 last season or something so kicking their erses on Saturday was great. The ref comes in before the game and says to us all...
'Boys they've put their first XV out so they have plenty of subs for when the game gets too onesided...'
Pretty rough first half but no scoring. Some of the hits from Donald our flanker were absolutely amazing. And a few dump tackles from Matty and Tim did the trick too like. They did make plenty of subs but as I heard their coach saying, 'All the players coming off are injured.'
So towards the end of the first half I kinda did something I maybe shouldn't have but fook it, some guy kicked me then fell offside in a ruck, I kinda took it upon myself to stomp on his chest and walk over him. Another sub for Royal High but I'm sure he's fine.
Second half begins and we go 7-0 up when Donald gets a try and converts it himself. They come back but fail to convert it coz the kicker was a fucking erse. Jamie then kicks a fooker of a drop goal and we're like 10-5 up with 5 mins to go. Then Jason our prop scores a try which Jamie misses when tryin to convert it but still 15-5 against those bams was a fucking great feeling.
I'm a wee bit sore after the game but all is good and it's bound to get a whole lot worse when I go training tomorrow followed by weights on Wednesday then a game against Currie on Thursday, fook me I'm gonna be knackered.
