It's 8 PM and E is already asleep! I can't remember when that last happened, but I'm sure not complaining. Of course, this was only possible since he didn't nap today, so C is perhaps not quite as full of joy as I am.
So I'm wasting this wonderful opportunity to do something productive by goofing off at the computer. I should go read instead. I'm working on this Swedish fantasy about who the Norse gods might really have been. So far it seems to be like a mix of Jean M. Auel and Jan Guillou.
We took E swimming tonight, and by Jove was the water chilly! It felt like the Baltic Sea in March. That reminds me why I'm not really much of a water man. Did you know that men are required to wear speedos to swim at certain locations in Sweden?
Sometimes I wonder what kind of person I am. Yesterday I watched Sesame Street with E. It's a really good show for the most part, but towards the end I had to suffer through a long segment of Elmo's World. The theme was jumping and it ended with some skydiving. Is it really normal if you wish that Elmo's parachute wouldn't deploy?
Anyway, I shall take advantage of this peaceful evening and go to bed with my book. Toodles.
