Oh what a lovely surprise ! JUST what I needed ! :)
It is snowing, fairly heavily, as i write this. But, at least it isn't too cold, yet. It has been around 25-30f, these past few days, as opposed to the -5 to -15 last week.
Which I had better enjoy, since it is all due to change tomorrow.

Another delightful chapter. It gave me a wonderful laugh !
So beautifully descriptive. And SO spot on !
For someone who was raised in warm states, you have a remarkable knack of describing deep, miserable, bone chilling cold ! And you are able to do it, while making me laugh, even as I fully understand what Justin is feeling ! :)

Las week, I went trudging off on my daily water fetching run, to my neighbor's house, 1/2 a mile away. It was still only up to around -5, and I was wearing several layers of clothing, and a fuzzy hat.(The modern kind that look pretty enough, when they are first put on, but, in order to stay put, have to be pulled way down over your ears - and therefore your EYES, too, or should be kept in place with hair pins, apparently) I looked like something that had been created by a mixture of the Michelin man and a rather sad bag lady ! :) But I was almost warm, so I didn't care :)
As a truck passed me, on my trip back to the cabin, and we each raised our hands in greeting (almost always done around here) I realized that the driver had been looking at me oddly, and then realized my fuzzy hat had been gradually slipping upwards, against the friction of my hair, and was plonked on top of my head, rather like an odd shaped, fuzzy plant pot ! It's SO hard to make a fashion statement up in the woods, in the winter, haha! :)

Back to the story. I love both voices, here. You have that lovely tongue in cheek Brian down pat.
Ted's attitude was just right, and Justin's drama was very believable.

Very nicely done.

I hope that all of your technical difficulties have gone away, now, and look forward to seeing where you take us.

Thanks, and hugs, and, of course, a howl from the pack,

Anita.
