Greetings, my fellow citizens!
I thought it was time for to try out one of these state-of-the-art livejournal thingies. They seem rather hip and trendy at the moment, just like myself. Chuffing great.
Oh, excuse my rudeness! I haven't introduced myself. My name is Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, I am 41 years young (but I'm still a bit of a hipster, y'see!), and I'm a politician. I'm part of the super youthful and ultra cool Conservative party, who are frightfully popular and trendy in Old Blighty. People remember me for taking part in "Have I Got News For You?", on our dear old BBC. Definitely the highlight of my career! Top telly makes a top man. Furthermore, I got to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Sir Angus Deaton. Truly a man's man if ever there was one. Chuffing fantastic, y'all. The BBC gave me a buzz last week actually, they asked if I was interested in teaching David Blunkett to drive in the all new "Celebrity Driving School".
I like to think of myself as a man of the times. No, not The Times newspaper, but the whole "Y2K" business... although I never knew what that meant. I feel that I'm still "with it".. Ooh, that reminds me! I played an arcade machine back in the old amusements in Scunthorpe during the Summer of '93! I indulged in a bit of "Packed Man" or something, I can't quite put the finger on it. Hmm, which chuffing reminds me that I like a bit of the ol' finger and thumbing action.
In my spare time, which is very, very often, I enjoy a bit of cycling, bondage, journalism, television stints, Liverpool and your mother. She makes a frightfully good cup of tea.
I love my work! Fellow MPs call me Boris Johnson, or "Tithead".
My adoring public call me "that weird twat off the telly with the stupid hair".
The Sun fondly call me BoJo or BJ, which is proof that I'm a man of the 21st Century, I'm with the "IT Crowd". BJ meaning Big Johnson, of course.
