I love Halo, it is my great equalizer. More importantly it connects me with my old friend(s), whom I wouldn't communicate with without a 2-4 hour drive. I do, however, enjoy my time in my little corner of Florida. Judge it as you want, but I've met some sincerely good people and I can concentrate on launching my future with limited distraction.
I work nearly full time and go to school full time and I really feel for people who do that shit AND have a baby, etc, etc. On the other hand, I hate people who coast by so effortlessly, even if they think they aren't.
I just saw Where the Wild Things Are and it was so great, but who doubted it? It made me remember a book I loved when i was a kid called The Phantom Toll Booth.
Music is curiously beautiful throughout the world / I can't wait for our next festival.
