but sometimes he makes me sick.
Baby germs... Toddler germs technically I guess.
Ironically he makes his father CanuckOtter sick too.
canuckotter.livejournal.com/179632.html I guess my night wasnt any worse than Chris'... I woke up about 2:30 with a complete inability to breathe, massive headache, nausea, fun fun fun... And I had to be at wok for 5:30. Drugs got me to sleep... I hope you had some luck too Chris. And I made it to work on time.
People who work in restaurants will understand there is a weird and completely stupid mentality that you cant call in sick. It is a strange and demented combination of pride, stubborness, a desire to not let your peers down, and a somewhat justified fear of reprisal from superiors. In any case we had several large breakfast functions this morning (hence the 5:30 start) and I didnt want my coworkers to suffer too badly, so there I was fever and drugs in hand, helping out... Ken and Summer both made it clear they were ok with me leaving, and I made my intent to leave clear as well... when "the little general" got there I told him flat out that when the breakfasts were done I was gone... I am over the need to ask permission, I knew I shouldnt be there spreading my germs. So now I am home... showered, and ensconced in my bed. Drugged and relaxed... going to take a nap now.
