We're gonna party like its 1986 on Friday!! woot!!
Had a "matt damon" week so far. Too much stuff I can and often times do worry about. But I'm making it through because of chance encounters or fun times with friends. Like the team america quoting session last night that was supposed to be the leads practicing their lines for bye bye birdie in Ms. Lambert's room. And the hooligans ;) that beeped at me when they drove by my house today. I was so nervous for my "political speech" in MEH today, I was like oh crap I'm gonna be sick. It wasn't too bad, though. The other people in my group either couldnt come up with their own thoughts, so they copied their material for our presentation from the worksheet we got or their part of the discussion just sucked. Matt said to one of the kids who was supposed to be in the Communist German Party (We were the Center Catholic German Party) "yeah, well you guys suck, we use cool words like "encroached" in our presentation" and Kyle Richardson was like "do you even know what that means?" and matt was like "no, but Jeff does!" It was funny. My part of the presentation was pretty powerful and eloquent, I felt, but then other group members were so-so. We so got owned on the inter-party debate, though. Overall it was a good experience, I hope we do that again because I definately need help in the department of supporting the statements I make.
yeah, I have another MEH assignment to do now, so I'm gonna check out of this time-consuming exercise. laterr
