yeah it was the only way mah parents would let me keep this. and I am rules by their iron fists, but im okay with that as long as they give me my freedom when I ask for it, which they have been pretty good at.
OH FRIGGEN WOW, SNO CORE TOUR WAS OUT OF THIS WOLD!!! First band was Strata, local band, I've heard of them before. they were good. then was future leaders of the world, long hair and dreads, and the lead singer was wearing this jacket that made him look more hiphop than rock. but they played LET ME OUT (Lemmee out, lemmee out I'm singin!!), which I knew. the whole time they were playing their set I was like wow they sound like that band that sings lemmee out, lemmee out, and then they played it and it was funny. then Crossfade hit the stage! SOOOO GOOD!! they played cold, colors, so far away (all songs that have been made into singles for radio play off their album), then disco, and deep end(also off their self titled album), and some others. they were awesome. And we (Caitlyn, my sis Carolyn, and I) got to meet them. They were signing stuff, but they were only signing the insert for the CD’s you had to buy there for $15. so I bought one, and they signed it. I was kinda pissed that you had to buy something, but it was okay. I bought a chevelle tee for like 25 which was kinda a ripoff, but I like it just the same. Helmet was okay… they’re apparently from NYC and the fans on the floor started yelling “Yankees suck” over and over again, it was funny. Then Chevelle came on… they played Forefeit, Family System, The Red(which was awesome and of course everybody sang along), Comfortable Liar, Send the Pain Below, Closure, a song from their first album, and Vitamin R(not in that particular order). They finished with Wonder What’s next. That was crazy. So anyway, it was an incredible show.
Tuesday night I didn’t have to work, so I slept over with Jeff and Shaun at the lewis’. It was fun, but towards the end it was getting dumb as jeff was spending his time upstairs trying to secure a date while I was downstairs with Shaun. I guess I cant blame him, though.
So… heres my schedule for those of you that want to know…
>Work Thursday 2 to 7, work Friday 11 to 7:30, work Saturday 7 to 12, work Sunday 7 to 3 or 3:30. Schoolwork has to fit in there somewhere inbetween, which I can hopefully finish sooner than later so I can hang with some friends some more before vaca ends.
