Forever let us hold our slide rules high

The visit to Mudd was a lot of fun; it was great to see so many people again. However, I only got to see about a quarter of the people I had hoped to see. So, if I missed you, I'll try to see you next time!

Case has really changed. The doors are now all bright turquoise, and the showers have stall-like doors and locks on them. The courtyard is completely paved, except for some short rows of mulch where the trees are. Everything is better lit (both the inside and the out), and there is a switch to turn off the light in the corner lounge. Oh, and the drinking fountains inside the L's are gone. and the furniture is new and very nice (everyone gets a chair that leans back!). All of the outside doors in all of the outer dorms seem to have card-swipes on them, even the proctor suites. The culture at Mudd seems much less open because of these new locks. Hadley created a doorbell system to call the proctor if you lost/forgot your card, which is a pretty good innovation in the face of a pretty bad (imho) change.

The HMC bridge club has completely died. Like, more than it did last year. It's a little sad.

My frosh seem to be doing well, all in all. Unfortunately, Topless L has apparently regressed into being just another themeless, ununified college dorm hallway. and it's rather disheartening to see. We really had something special going on there last year. However, ThurFri seems to be spreading to the other dorms, to some degree (go frosh! you rock).

I really need to post more news soon. and play more bridge. and finish switching OSes, which I have been putting off because I haven't gotten around to backing up my wiki. and do laundrey. and get more sleep. yes, I think I can accomplish that last one tonight...
