I am still alive
I am pretty damn awful at posting in this journal. I read it frequently but I just never feel like enough interesting shit happens here that would make me wanna post. Whatever.
School is going great. I am currently enrolled in chem 111, intro to psych, human sexuality, and modern dance. All my classes are amazing and I didn't get stuck with shitty teachers this time hahahaha. My dance class is seriously the best thing EVER. It is a great workout and i always leave the class sweaty and feeling energized. It is really nice on thursdays because I always go to play ITG out in chesapeake right after class.
I feel like a huge bum sometimes. I know it will all pass once I start going to ODU and get back into the whole music stuff, but I just feel so uninspired. I sit around on my computer and bum around and do some homework every now and then and I go to class and then work. I wish I felt more inspired to write music these days, but it is so hard with the monotony of regular life.
I am always amazed though at how easy the music will always come back to me. I was sitting here trying to find something to do while I was waiting for Rob to get back home. I went into my computer and started searching around and found some music to listen to. I found some of my favorite pieces and sure enough everything just comes rushing back. It always makes me so at ease when this sort of thing happens. Like no matter how much shit is going on in my life there will always be my music. And even if it just chills there on the back shelf while life gets in the way, a simple song can just bring it all back to me instantaneous. Obviously I hope to get to the point where the music is my life and I don't have to worry about putting it on the back shelf. But it is a huge relief for the time being so I can focus on the shit I need to get done so I can get to that point.
Tomorrow I have modern dance and then ITG amazingness at Greenbrier mall, hahahaha. Those of you who have played there know what I am talking about hahaha. Me and Rob are getting a SHKITTYYYYY tomorrow. I am soooooo excited and I hope we find a nice cute one. The only downside is that it will probably already have a name and I can't come up with a cute ddr name for it hahaha. Pics soon.
