poemfuck (for jill)

as i pushed open the old wooden door the dusklight grazed my cheek... so gentle it reminded me of a simpler time... when children frolicked on the hillside... picking daisies for grandma... to be displayed in her windowsill vase. and so i continued on soak in the wisdom of the sun and the moon. the heart of the woodland ran into me with the force of a thousand swords.. The lions of tomorrow. whispering raindrops bubbled all around... dancing fairies from my dreams... light on their feet... quick as the day disappearing in front of me. quickly i bolted to the honeydew farm for a ripe fruit... my mouth watering for it's succulent flesh. The storm approached, as i ducked swiftly under the brush, only to find a pantherboy. His fierce teeth and gentle eyes were fascinating, yet revolting. he longed for my affection... beast and man together... huddled for warmth in the grove thicket i took his hand and placed a golden ringlet of my flowing hair upon his teensy indexfinger. he growls. i sense his red energy pouring from his broken demonheart... a furrowed brow fixed upon me could not deter me from his habitat. as the passing storm grew calm i went on my way back to the meadowland...i could feel the heart of the earth tremble with anticipation. I gazed at the Wolfstar as it's tiny fingergalaxies danced upon the shoulders of the universe. I am a man, yet still, a proud tiger.

Love,
Andy and Graham
