(no subject)
Well, I'm a few days behind in this, but I plead working overnight and being too tired....
Schan and I got a new dog! Her name is Mercy and she's a 4 year old Yellow Lab. She's a big ol' sweety, and when I say big, I mean big... she weighs 91 lbs!! She and Ziek get along fabulously, and they love to play tug of war with each other. Another of her favorite games is fetch, which is true of most labs, but Ziek turns the game into keep away when he gets to the ball first. She tires quickly since she mostly just lived in a kennel prior to our taking her home, but witha playmate like Ziek, she'll be slim and fit in no time. *grins* Also, the cats are liking the fact taht she's here, in that she occupies Ziek so he doesn't chase them all the time anymore. Yay for that.
I'm sure there's much more I could say, but I don't want to drag on forever, so how about some pictures?
Can your tell she's happy to be here?
Not that she's taking over the bed or anything.
In fact, there's little room when both Mercy AND Ziek are on the bed.
When she gets tired, she lets Ziek do all the work. What else are big sisters for?
