experiences / opinions?
w/r/t LiveJournal ...
it seems that each time i have cycles to enjoy LJ, the level of suckiness of network interaction persuades me otherwise ...
timeouts on attempts to read ...
needing to retry post requests ...
"i'm too busy - check some status page" output ...
is there any evidence to suggest that i might have a substantially better experience if i were a PAID user? with a number of nice and interesting folks here, it's frustrating ...
and i'm not bagging on the LJ hosts per se ... getting anything for free is very nice, but i'd pay for *normal* responsiveness if that's what i'd get ...
