Today was St. Patty's Day on the hill in Kutzy. Since they have spring break over St. Patty's day (to prevent the drunken debauchery) the college hosts a celebraation a week earlier. The bars, also, move their celebrataion a week early. So i was up at 6:30am to sit at an informational table. Ironically, this was one program students showed up to. Unfortuantely, they did not check out my informational table.
Went out to the club tonight.
Good news. Ran into a very good old friend. Haven't talked to her since probably the summer after high school graduation. I was amazing and shocked. It was awesome.
Bad news. I dont' know what it is - i just, seem to set mysefl up for this shit. I knew the reality beforehand, and while the reality seems to be different (and slightly in my favor) i'm still incredibly, and impossibly, confused. Perhaps i should have fought harder. I mean, in this situation i have the brains, the intellecct, that could get me to the front of the line. Too bad people still rank looks as a #2, if not #1, priority.
Realistically can you put meaning to life without these ups and downs, positives and negatives, and the entire array of gray matter. This is it. Moment by moment.
