Happy New Year, guys!
When you're having a clear out and deleting CC from your downloads folder it's always a good idea to pay attention and not accidentally hit 'enter' instead. Poor laptop very nearly exploded (again) whilst struggling to open 7 different SimPE windows.
I had the urge to play Blackwater a bit. All the kids have been stuck in their current age stages for far too long. Mostly I've just been giggling at Fig and Amos Newton's complete ineptitude.
Although it was thanks to Amos birdwatching inside the house that alerted me to the house's lack of a roof. Since I uninstalled Seasons (and I do miss it... but not it's lag) I've forgotten them 3 times now.
Fig got a makeover ..... hang on ....
Fig got a makeover. I guess she was doing what my mum always suggests I should and giving the hair dye a rest before she goes bald. Erm, how about no, Mother? I look terrible with mousey locks and Fig's brown 'do isn't doing much for me either. Expect to see the purple back next time.
Eldest daughter, Roland. Who is quite obviously my newest favourite as the following picspam will demonstrate. I think there's more than a hint of goldfished 's lovely Inertia (it's the eyes!) and seeing as they share a surname maybe my game thinks they're long lost cousins or something.
Watch out, Holmes! She's gonna get you!

No, Amos. It's the sound of your gentlemen vegetables protesting at being shoved violently into the desk edge.
Amos wanted another kid. Fig wanted a boy. Lomax is a girl. I fear she will grow up with a bit of a complex.
Kind of funny looking but she's growing on me.
A bit of house-spam to end with. Some of these have already been posted on GoS but I'm nothing if not anal about posting EVERYTHING.
Lomax's room is AWESOME but alas it is very small and I couldn't get any pics that did it justice. Maybe next time. What I will have next time is some of the other Blackwater residents including (OMGSOEXCITED) my first newborn aliens since re-install.
And now I shall go back to celebrating the end of the 2000's by listening to my mammoth 1990's Britpop playlist.
