i just learned a very important lesson.
seafood dinner + running = consequences

i love my aunt marian and uncle mark.
marian and i are so similar.
last night she came up to me and said "did you ever know that you're my hero?"
and i was like, umm..that's my joke.
i love that we have the same sense of humor.
and mark kills me.
he always says jokes quietly to himself, and i'm the only one that hears them.
they travel everywhere and have seen every single movie.
i love anyone who wants discuss films with me.
and they know every jim gaffigan joke and watch the colbert report.
my mom's family is so cool.

i keep thinking about last weekend.
that was so great.
there were so many moments where i sat there and thought, We Are The Shit.
no other group of people can compete with our awesomeness.
and i don't know where i would be without you guys.
because you are my source of total bliss.
all my worries disappear and for three days i'm in a constant state of laughter.
i was talking to my mom last night about how amazing everyone looked.
we are all at this peak of excitement for life and it shows.

i feel so prepared for whatever is next.
yet patient about that one thing that's missing.
because i know that it is out there, waiting to catch me off guard.
