(no subject)
I had to check to see when the last time I posted was. Almost two months ago. I'm such a slacker. I have been kinda busy, with work and stuff, but I should still find more time for this.
Kelly and I saw Kung Fu Hustle last week. I highly recommend it. Personally, I found it more enjoyable than Shaolin Soccer, the other Stephen Chow movie to make it big in America. It was a little cartoonish in bits, which I thought might turn me off, but in the end, it worked. And the opening dance number was freaking awesome. If you like kung fu movies at all, or even just slapstick, you should go see it.
Friday, we saw The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. That was a bit more disappointing. I'm a fan of the books, which may have been my (its?) downfall. I knew all of the jokes already, so it was only mildly funny. And I knew the story, so that wasn't exciting either. Minus those two things, it was only enjoyable. Not good. Not bad either, though. I think you'd like it more if you were unfamiliar with the book. I did love the scene where they were yarn, though.
