Wedding and stuff

So, I'm like two weeks late on these pics, I'm sorry. We got really wrapped up in moving, so I never got a chance, and when I got home, the internet was acting up. Now is the first time in those 2 weeks that I've had a chance to actually put these up. As a penance offering, you also get a few pics of the new place, now about 70% unpacked (and will stay that way until we move back in August.

And this all would have been up hours ago (I'm typing this at 10:20 PM, EST (LAST NIGHT by the time it finally worked)) if Photobucket would have let me upload even one file at a time without timing out...

I really need a new digital camera. I took so many more pics than this (close to 50), but most of them didn't come out or were way too zoomed out. That's what I get for stealing cameras from Gateway, I guess.

My apologies to Ashleigh and the rest of the bridal party. I took a picture of everybody as they processed in, but aside from the couple you see, none came out. They were all WAY too dark. These few look okay-ish (with Photoshop tweaking) though.

A couple shots of the ceremony

And the big finish

The ceremony was very nice, and it was the most beautiful day we've had around here in quite a while. Not too hot, not raining, no cicadas. Couldn't have asked for a better day.

We sat next to Eddie and the people he was with.

After the ceremony, we met everyone in the wedding party, including Jason and Kirsten's respective parents, and I got to see Ashliegh, who I haven't seen since like October 2000 or so. Then we all went inside for the reception.

Jess gave us our little table placard dealie to go inside, and then Kelly and I looked around for a bit.

I took a picture of the gifts because Kelly thought the one in the center was a cake.

This was the real cake. It tasted really good, too. I liked the frosting.

Like outside, Eddie sat at our table, as did Jess and Eric (Kelly took pictures of them, but with her camera, not mine. So bug her).

Kelly and Jess dancing. Kelly was a bit tipsy by this point.

Right before the throwing of the bouquet/garter.

And I got this shot towards the end of the night.

All in all, it was a lot of fun.

Moving was such a pain in the ass. Everything got all screwed up, we got the U-haul much later than I intended, and we didn't even end up turning in our keys until the next day. But, it all ended up okay I guess, and we even found time to unpack a bunch of our stuff.

We'll start with the bathroom, I guess. It's 99% done. I want to change the shower-head, and we need a bigger shower curtain to go all the way around the tub, but that's about it.

Next, the kitchen. Despite the way the pictures make it seem, that's almost done, too. That huge pile is empty boxes (trash wasn't until like 5 days after we moved in, and we couldn't wait that long; also, we might need some of them before we're done unpacking anyway).

The living room, which is probably our least done room. You can see Kushto here, he drove down from Maine to help us move in, and it probably would have taken twice as long without him (though he was even more obsessed with zombies than I am, which got to Kelly after a while). You can also kinda make out Kelly as you look into the bedroom.

The bedroom. It's got a bit to go, mostly on my part, but it's getting there. Once I put my clothes away and we get the bed situation worked out, it'll be just fine.

And lastly, the backyard. It's completely unpacked, with the weeds and trees and such. I'm so proud of us for getting it done so fast.
