what are friends for...
as per the last few entries people may have noticed that it was recently my birthday...the show i was doing for it was cancelled due to black-outs in buffalo, but my friends threw together a last minute "blacked-out party" for me. it was super sweet and a few friends played acoustic sets. during emi's set the power went back on, but alex was right on top of it to run into the basement and shut it off so that the black-out party could continue.
at the end of the last set people brought me out a cake and were singing the standard song, at which point alex rounded the corner carrying a brand new bicycle that all my friends pitched in for and got me!!!! it was the exact one that was stolen from me while i was out on tour. i was speechless and still kind of am.
i have the greatest friends in the world and i love riding my new bike Astaldo!!!!!
