Update 04/16/06
So, it's been a while since I've updated on here... so I figure a little reality check is in order.
I'm still working at the prison. It's been nearly 18 months since I started there... and it's a pretty decent job. I have plenty of money, benefits, 3 days off a week... although it's 3rd shift. I don't mind because I am a night owl at heart anyways. I recieved a raise back in January after my yearly evaluation and promotion... and I'll recieve another raise in July because of the new contract between my union and the state of maine.
Thanks to my friend Basil, I am now re-addicted to World of Warcraft. Damn you, Blizzard! But still, I believe Haley will assist me in breaking my habits, whether I like it or not. :o)
I'm still doing karate, after 17 years of busting my ass. As I said in an earlier post, we just got back for the Battle of Maine Championships, where we kicked some serious ass. There are alot of karate schools out there that talk big and do a pretty good job... but we've always taken the cake when it comes to putting your money where your mouth is. I'm also looking forward to having a really good friend visit me in a couple weeks. I hope things go well. :o)
