My books: the good and the bad
I've been cataloging my books recently using the Goodreads site. I thought I owned around 7-800. Wrong. I'm currently at around 1300. As you might guess, I rarely let go of books. However, I have discovered that about a box's worth of books have gone missing. They are:
Three of the 5 Hitch-Hiker's Guide series by Douglas Adams
Support Your Local Wizard omnibus by Diane Duane
Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson
Cinnamon Skin and The Lonely Silver Rain by John D. MacDonald
The Stainless Steel Rat Gets Drafted by Harry Harrison
Colossus, The Forbin Project by D. F. Jones
Judgment on Janus and Witch World by Andre Norton
Heechee Rendezvous by Frederick Pohl
Titan, Wizard and Demon by John Varley
The Wonderful World of J. Wesley Smith by Burr Shafer
Special Deliverance by Clifford D. Simak
Rendezvous with Rama and Rama II by Arthur C. Clarke
Roget’s Thesaurus
Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations
I happened onto a free softbound copy of Roget's recently and grabbed it up, so I don't need another copy, but my old one was hardbound.
Hopefully I can round them all up again.
