As the school year is ending I found that I have grown up a lot. It might be because I have more responsibilities and i know i have more to gain in the future. I now have my license, a steady pay check, and the will to do anything I want. My eighteenth birthday is only months away and it is frightening and exciting all at once. I have gained friendships, made friendships stronger, and brought friendships back from the past. Even though, I am counting down the seconds until the summer I won't realize how many awesome people won't be there in the hallways next year like they always were.
This summer and next year I will just grow older and have more grown up things to worry about. I will be looking, applying, and picking out a college in order to start to be someone in this world. I will have to work steady days and keep up with all the regular school work and find time to have fun. It will be my senior year next year and I don't want it to go to waste.
This year is ending, but only to start my year as a senior. With all the work, priviledges, responsibilities, and parties that come along with it. I will be the top of the class and I hope I learn to like it. It will be weird to have no one above me, but it will also be good to be looked up to. This summer and next year I am sure I will learn more, but I know that I've learned a lot during this year.
I guess this was the end of the year speech that I didn't plan to type out. What was going to be my topic for this entry?..... now I forget.
