Happy New Year, again :)

2006 has started out great, but let's back track a bit:

Last Friday I went to Dana's for New Year's. It was great, we went to the mall, saw "Pride and Prejudice", went out to dinner with some friends and made a ton a excellent food for a feast at his aunt's house. I met more of his family, and we hung out at his Aunt Pam's house for a while, I absolutley love her, she's a riot. Caught her up on the Fredonia happenings, and the pending wedding (haha, not quite yet). New Year's Eve was great, there was a 7 course meal, Dana is an excellent chef, everything was scrumptious. And I got a New Year's kiss :). It was a perfect vacation, I'm so happy to have found him.

I came home yesterday and read "The Guardian" by Nicholas Sparks. It was almost 500 pages and I finished it in one sitting. Now I have to find something else to read. I've slowly been progressing though the Old Testament. So many long names.

Today I had lunch at my Grandma and Grandpa's house with Allison, and I have an eye doctor appointment. It turns out my corneas both grew, which was making my contacts almost unbearable, so I got new ones that fit perfectly. My optometrist's dog, a golden retriever, was in the office and he followed me and Allison around the whole time. I want a dog so bad, I can't wait to get my puppy.

After my appointment I took my sister to the Bascilica in Lackawanna. She had only been in it once for a wedding long ago, so we walked around and took it all in. I love it there. It doesn't look like it belongs in Buffalo, it's so European and it is HUGE. Allie's birthday is Janurary 6th, this Friday, which is Three Kings Day (at least for Catholics) so I'm taking her to mass there and we're going with our Nana and Grandma.

Tomorrow I'm going into West Seneca with Al to drop off her car for an oil change and Nana is taking us out to breakfast. When I get back I'm going out to lunch with Marla and Leah. So it's been a nice couple of days.

I also talked to Jess today for about a half hour and I'm really excited to see her, I miss her a lot. I might go back to Fredonia on the 14th (Saturday) instead of Sunday, that's when she's going back, but I don't know, I might just go on Sunday.

I'm so excited for classes, it will be fun to have a class with Dana again, and I'm really excited for my schedule. I can't believe that in a year I will be preparing for student teaching! And I'm getting really pumped for Civil Rights and Liberties, hopefully there won't be ill-informed people in the class, or people who think they know everything about government. We're all there to learn. And I'll actually have time to keep up with my workouts! Weeeee!

Until again, enjoy life everyone (and this unseasonal weather!)
