Running a BiFest FAQ

May 23, 2007 08:52

The BiFest brand seems to be fairly well established now. And congratulations to all those who took part in the recent London and Brighton BiFests. Given the success, I was wondering if those who have been involved with running a BiFest would be interested in devising a brief "How to run a BiFest" FAQ that could be posted to the BiFest website. The reason I'm asking is that in the UK we have BiCon, which is well established. However, other countires do not really have the resources, or established knowledge to run such an event, and might be interested in running a BiFest. I'm a moderator for the EURO-BINET group which is a collection of Bi Activists from European Countries, and I think that a FAQ on how to set up a BiFest could be something that may be very helpful, and appreciated.

Was wondering about what are the issues for running a BiFest ? Off the top of my head, here are some headers that I can think of, and wondered if people would like to expand on them, and add there own as a starting point.
