Okay, here's the thing. Valentine's Day, as we all probably have been made abundantly aware, is this weekend. I have no money with which to buy Nick a present, so I thought to myself, "Sarah, you're a creative gal... why don't you make him something?" Soooo, I racked my brain over and over and the thing that kept popping into my mind was the fact that he has said multiple times that he would like a picture of me. The thing is that I don't have any tangible decent pictures to give him and he thinks (and I tend to agree) that the tackiness of printing out a photo from the ol' computer-poo outweighs the benefit of having a little something to remind you what your significant other looks like when he/she isn't right in front of you.
Sooooo, I pulled out the old oil pastels and did a self portrait. After entering into some sort of semi-artistic trance for the last few hours trying to get it right, I'm now having second thoughts. This is where you come in, people.
Please, please, please... pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase answer the following questions for me???
1) Is it enormously lame to get a picture of your Valentine's Day sweetie?
2) Even if you know that your s.o. doesn't have the money to buy you whatever video game/cd/basket of love goodies they would love to buy you if they could?
3) Am I just being paranoid?
***EDIT***
It really looks a lot better not scanned into the computer, just for everyone's knowledge
4)
