here we go
here we go again
girls, what's my weakness?
MEN!"
hahaha- a little tribute to the fancies of the evening that will be shaking their groove thangs to the Salt and the Pepa.
this new year's eve won't be nearly as exciting as last year's, and thank god because the truth is this: as much as we love and thrive on pissing people off, i just don't think we can afford to get kicked out of houston- at least not at this point in the fragile game.
soon we will be leaving to go get the knick knack and eating at a restaurant- that's right, kids, a restaurant, and then we will be hopefully getting some drinkipoos and drinking and playing games with "rockin' the new year's amerikkan style", so we know what time to actually pay attention and make out or not make out as the case may be.
at dinner sarah and i will go through our Annual Year in Review (TM), and that totally makes me think of last year at this time. sarah was cooking a shrimp and chicken pesto pasta concoction that she made at her parents' house, while she was housesitting for them, and it was wonderful! mmmmm mmmmmm, and i really don't even like shrimp, but i'm convinced that sarah can make any food good to the taste. we were getting ready to go to bloomington for a terrible and smelly new year's eve party where people were so drunk that they actually thought midnight happened on 4 different occasions. we had our faces licked by someone that sarah named "cute boots" and saw the guy that grosses around town that hadn't washed his hair in 2 years- 2 fucking years- true mother fucking story!
wow! what a mother fucking year it has been though! i'm feeling uber-nostalgic and reminiscent but i have a feeling that when we actually go through our year in review those feelings will promptly go away- far far away.
in closing (before i get too sappy to go on...to go on), here it is- themes of the year for sarah and bif:
song that made us feel "okay" and "better" about our situations:
"boys don't cry"- i will always have a picture of sarah dancing around to that song in my head and both of us being happy while listening to it regardless what was happening at the time.
movie that was like "woah":
"secretary"- woah
2 songs that one of us liked and the other hated but we made the other one listen to on a very regular basis:
"crazy in love"- beyonce and jay-z and "why don't you and i"- santana and the lead singer from nickelback
worst moves of the year:
bif moving into the Tizzle and sarah moving to Kansas
best lines of the year:
"do you think that this finding yourself thing is getting in the way of what you really need to do?"- big D
"i know you really don't want to date me."- sarah's mom
best political move:
giving the crown of indianapolis to melbub
one line that will stick with us forever and ever:
"houston is dirty"- the murry
best romantical moves of our entire lives:
nick and brandy- the beat the competition by far and away.
that's all for now.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
