It has been exactly two weeks to the date since my first arrival in this strange place. I hoped that I might've woken up from such a strange dream already, and yet I have not. Therefore, the only conclusion I can come to is that Miss Fauchelevent was correct: this place is as real as I feared. Which then beings to beg the question: How did I come to be in such a place? And now that I'm here, how can I get home? There must be an answer somewhere. When one journeys from one place to another, there is always a way to get back to the place from whence they came. So it is clear that, first, I must find the path that brought me here. I haven't the foggiest idea where to start, however. I'm hesitant to venture back into the field where I first found myself, for fear of those scarecrows. I wouldn't like to be chased by one of them again. The second time could have even more disastrous results.
[a pause, for thought...and then, more quietly:]
I must admit, even to myself...this place gives me a measure of peace, away from court and it's parties and soirees, that I was not able to find at home. At least I know I shall be comfortable here, while I remain in this place.
[another, shorter pause, and a light 'hm' sound]
On that note, I am almost out of ink and paper, not to mention black nail polish. I shall have to purchase some more.

Greetings, residents.
My name is Antonio Salieri. I have been in this place for two weeks, and I have found that simply waiting to wake up from this odd experience isn't quite as stimulating as I might've hoped. Therefore, I would like to announce that I would like to offer lessons to those of musical inclination. I am willing to give private lessons to those who show interest and talent in one or more of the following areas: singing, composition, musical theory, violin and piano.
If there is someone who is interested, please contact me, and we shall discuss further details.
