1. ONE OF YOUR SCARS, HOW DID YOU GET IT?
I have a scar above my right eye. When I lived in Hawai'i (pronounce it right damnit!) my mom left me and my sister with a baby-sitter and she went out for the night. When she returned to the sitter's apartment the front door was wide open and all the lights were off. My little sister was asleep on the ground right next to the baby-sitter, also asleep. My mom picked up my sister and woke up the sitter. I was asleep on the couch. I was about four I think. The sitter came over to me and stood me up. I was still asleep and I fell over and hit my head on the coffee table. I bled all over the baby-sitter's carpet and had seven stitches put into my four-year old head.

I decided that I didn't want any of my stuff hanging in my room, so I have four photographs that my aunt took, and one that Jill took. And a painting that Jon Tee did when he was very young is still here leaning up against the wall.

Pretty much everything, but the staples are Classic Rock, Funk, and Soul. But a lot of my favorite bands aren't part of those groups. Electric Light Orchestra I guess fits in to Classic Rock but they're more Progressive Rock. And Duran Duran just kicks ass. I also have a weakness for bad 90's pop.

I could look at this both ways. I could definitely see being proposed to and I think it would be in bed, one morning right after we woke up. I was balling when Mia left to go to California.

Well it's hard to say that I have a first home, because I've been in so many. I lived in two houses in Hawaii, three in California, Two in the burbs of Boston and then now in Cambridge. So many times I've heard people say that height is a really important factor for them, and I'm not that short, but every time when I think about being taller, I don't want to. So, I think I'm fine without surgery, but then again that guy on true life on MTV who got the calf implants was so cool, everyone loved him after he got surgery...
41. WHY DID YOU FILL OUT THIS SURVEY?
Because I can't write poems or paint pictures or make music. This is a way to express myself.
42. WHAT DO YOU GET COMPLIMENTED ABOUT MOST?
Personality wise- I think my sense of humor, or at least my ability to have a good time. Physically- everyone seems to always be grabbing my ass, so maybe that's a clue.
43. WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF ALCOHOL BECAME ILLEGAL?
I'd go to Sam's illegal speakeasy all the time, but because it's illegal they'd have all sorts of other illegal things so I'd also probably gamble away all my money, catch a disease and maybe auto erotically asphyxiate myself and die, taking Sam's club with me.

a bike that can go 10x faster than the Second Coming, have a place for another person and a place in the back to make-out in, maybe an AC and a moon roof. I guess that's a car, damn!

The thumb is just so useful, but I think I'm going to go with the ring finger; it's definitely the most humble.
49. WHEN DID YOU LAST CRY?
Well I cry when I watch movies all the time, the last real good movie cry was Brokeback Mountain, but the last real cry is when Sam and Luis left. I gave Luis a hug and I saw tears in his eyes, and he's always been such a man's man for me that it just made me all melty inside and I lost it on the way out. I was balling when Mia left to go to California.
50. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING?
I do, but I've been told it’s really girly. So if having manly handwriting means it has to be either messy or so cursive-ish that it's not readable, then I'd much rather have girly writing.

Turkey Breast hands down. Mayo and Turkey Breast = a very happy Steve.

Mayo and other awful food habits. I should get more sleep but instead I stay up filling out dumb surveys.

hell yeah! We'd have so much fun, but I think Sam's answer is amazing and I agree, I'd do myself too, but then I'd regret it and then hope that everything was cool the next day and hopefully we could still have fun, and guess what? WE WOULD! YAY FRIENDS!

To be honest they do, but at the same time, anything can happen.
57. HOW DO YOU RELEASE ANGER?
I used drop down on my knees and punch my bed or the floor, never the wall or anything that I thought I could break, then right after my hand would hurt and I'd either laugh at how dumb I was or feel stupid for how dumb I was. Recently though I've been much better in channeling it into writing some rant or arguing some political debate, but most of the time, I just get sad.
58. WHERE IS YOUR SECOND HOME?
Well it's hard to say that I have a first home, because I've been in so many. I lived in two houses in Hawaii, three in California, Two in the burbs of Boston and then now in Cambridge. So my grandma's house has been the only real constant household that I can remember. So in a way it's my first home.

60. WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A CHILD?
When I was a baby I had a stuffed bear. Now everyone has a bear, but this one was mine. he was grey and shaggy, and through the years he had grown a bit dirty. And as I grew out of playing with him he was always there. I played with my Ninja Turtles yet he was still in the command center telling the turtles where to go. When I started playing with my legos, he was the friendly alien the lego space explorers had found on the new planet. When I went off to college I put him in a box. Thinking that when I move to California, I could just pick up this box on my way out. But I don't think I can do that now. He's sitting in a box at my dad's house and as much as I want my bear, I'm not going to go knock on my dad's door asking for him. It's weird how sad I get about that sometimes. I think I need to stage a break-in.

I don't really look for any type. Every time I thought I had a type some new girl comes through my door. So all I'm really looking for is someone who not only tolerates some of the weird things I do, but loves them about me. Also a prerequisite... (cheese alert) I have to be able to get lost in her eyes.

Steve, Thstevin (that’s my hardest trying to spell how it’s pronounced), my grandma used to call me Steven A. Sam calls me Steven J. Lewis, no idea why. okay, you all ready for the weird ones. These are ones that those damn California nuts came up with. Mia- Donkey. Jasond- Lewis, Laaaaaaa. Jasond's family- Lew dog. Louie. Lou Lou.

It varies a lot. Sometimes it's just a body lying next to me. Other times its Erial drunk off her ass. Sometimes it’s Daren introducing me to people as one of the very few cool straight guys at Emerson. Sometimes it's Sam saying heck yes to an idea I come up with. Sometimes it’s Luis when I tell him something he didn't know and his eyes are so wide. Sometimes it's Jon Tee when we sit there for an hour or two just coming up with the most awful movie of all time. Sometimes it’s Jasond when we just talk about old times. Sometimes it's Mia when she'll ask me some advice about a boy then an instant later change the subject to something completely different. Like I said, it varies.

This is a hard one. There's a few Enya songs that just wisk me off into some weird subconscious state where there are fairies and unicorns flying around, but I don't know if that’s thought provoking. Uhh. A lot Otis Redding songs are super sad but they paint out what rejection or loneliness or betrayal feels like. I think it's amazing when songs can do that. But I love songs that just seep into my brain underneath all my senses and just make me happy. Like One Drop by Bob Marley, or Livin' Thing by ELO. Lot's of songs are like that.

Either September or July. I dig September because it's my birthmonth, but also it’s a time for new beginnings. School is starting back up, a new season of football starts, the baseball playoffs, the leaves, the brisk wind that isn't cold yet. But then there's July, they hottest sunniest month. I love the sun. The fourth of July is also one of my favorite holidays.

I watched 21 grams the other night. Great movie, makes me cry every time. Naomi Watts is so good.

Either the Fourth of July, a day of friends, BBQs, and having fun, or Christmas Eve, a day of anticipation and Christmas Spirit. Sometimes the material aspect of Christmas day takes a bit away for me, but Christmas Eve is filled with lights, smiles, good food, Christmas specials on tv about people caring for each other, Christmas carols. I wish everyday was as idealistic and happy as Christmas Eve.

Winter is great, but it’s more of a novelty for me. Summer is like home.

a kiss is great because it’s the ultimate expression of intimacy, but a hug can be for everyone and can be just as meaningful to everyone. A hug is never inappropriate. If it was ok, instead of handshaking, I'd give people hugs. I love hugs!

Sam is a truly unique person. Sometimes I don't understand some things about her, but that's what’s so endearing. Also she can shoot you down with a look that will make you fear for your soul, then the next second send a smile that will bring you right back up again. We don't agree on a lot of things yet it never has once led to any animosity. Sam can grab me in places that would make anyone blush and I'm still as comfortable as ever. Her confidence just bleeds out onto people. Sam is one of the people that I never thought I would ever meet but now that I have could not imagine not meeting her. Sam is my friend, but she hits... hard. (She gave me a black-eye)
