Latest edition to my family: Emma. She's a wee kitten, a ball of fur the size of my hand. One look at her, and I was gone. Not just completely smitten, but absolutely in love.
This summer has been insane so far. Just keeps getting crazier, too. Good thing I like insanity. My outlook on life is changed. Drastically. For the first time, methinks, I truly believe the phrase "anything is possible." Amazing.
I managed to tell my grandmother today that I'm gay--or slightly not-quite-heterosexual (I swear, one day I'll be okay with some sort of phrasing)-- and then talk about it with a few other people without EVER saying the words "I'm gay" or anything remotely similar. Do I have talent or what?
So I've decided to hike the Appalachian Trail. It's only 2160 miles long.
The sunset tonight seemed a bit more beautiful than it used to be. Full moon soon, too.
