My planned short stay in vegas turned into a 9 day trip. I busted out the second day of the world series main event...I never had any cards and the situations just didn't line up. Nothing I could have done. I was completely shocked by how weak the field was. 8700 players played in the tourney and probably 7000 had no shot...the reason is online qualifiers.
I spent 16 days in vegas during the series this year and played 97 hours in the cash games...a pretty fair amount. Makes me feel a lot better about not getting a lot of online hands in. I'll definitely spend a good chunk of time in vegas over the series again next year as it was a lot of fun. I'm definely ready to go home though.
Now I get a week completely devoid of poker or anything poker related up north. Perfect.
Before that though kels is coming for a few days. Tomorrow is 6 months together!
I've had bronchitus for the past couple weeks and it's pretty annoying. It's not so bad cause I'm not actually 'sick' in the sense i have a virus and feel like crap and am contageous but I sure cough a lot and it's super annoying. I actually went to the urgent care in vegas to find out i had it and get some meds.
the turbulance here on the plane is killin me so time to go!
