Happy Valentine's Day!

Is everyone officially snowed in south west Ontario? 
We didn't get as much snow, I was watching the news this morning and schools were all closed and airports, that's a lot of snow all at once..40-50 cm! Em was hoping for a snow day...and was sadly disappointed.
I made a pound cake for dessert tonight, with drizzled raspberry sauce and whip cream..

Well, what'd you get him? haha After 20 years of marriage it gets stale - the gift giving thing. I mean, what else does someone need after all that time. I'd go with the chocolates, but then, buy them yourself for yourself! Don't wait - now - if a card was forgotten or not given, then there'd be trouble!!!!

I got him choclates and candy all wrapped up in a pretty bag...he ate them upon opening. I asked Earl years ago to stop getting me cards when money was tight, maybe we should bring that back...

um, Jonathan and I will have only been
married for 12 years in July but...
We do something that some might think cheap
but we recycle our cards.
We buy about 3 or 4 real 'risky' cards
and then we re-use them. Sometimes we
forget or they are hard to find but it
sure if fun reading them and seeing what
was written from the year(s) before.
The one I gave him for this Valentines
was one I gave him 11 yrs ago, it was
boring, I was not as brave then.
Anyway, just thought I'd share what we do.
We do if for all occasions, b'days
c'mas, anniversary and Valentines.
I don't feel too bad when I spend about
4 or 5$ on a card when I know it will be used
again and the content shocks my hubbie :0)
