Today is Adolf Hitler's birthday...i cannot remember a a time when a new book on Adolf Hitler was not standing on the shelves of a book shop or some sort of article in a magazine or as a school boy in such comics as " The Hotspur " or " The Victor "...today as i stood in Waterstones in the Arndale Centre in Manchester looking for a pocket book to carry in my newish handbag given to me by a certain Miss for services rendered, i needed a book for those quite times when sat on a bus or train or if family are gabbing away about some T.V. episode that flies above my head...
The amount of new books surrounding the First and Second World Wars...was quiet staggering...sometimes i pull at one read a few lines and replace thinking how many i already have and not a page turned always with the thought of tomorrrows long line of must reads.... Soemtimes i feel as if i have lived with war all my life. from war poets to the sadded 6 million...
Thus i settled for a small pocket book by Kirsty Loehr... " A short History of Queer Women "..which brought a smile from the Fem behind the counter this morning...and well i was wearing a pink T-Shirt. plus the wondermont of Morning Sunshine through the cobbled streets of Manchester....Wow Wow and Gosh...
