a bicheul/lunathunderhead collabo of epic proportions, yo.
here's part one. now, let's go.

here we will learn:

  • the six oldest members
  • that it's obvious to figure out which member i stan the most *sigh*

Xiumin (Birthday: March 26, 1990)

Xiumin, born Kim Minseok, is a vocalist in EXO-M. He, along with Lu Han, is known mostly for not looking his age at all, which is made more apparent by the fact that he’s the same age as Kris. He’s really damn adorable though, which is evidenced here, and also a bit of a ham, as shown here. He joined SM in 2008 after he placed second in the Everysing competition.

Lu Han (Birthday: April 20, 1990)

Lu Han is a lead vocalist in EXO-M. He is originally from Beijing, but spent a lot of time in Korea prior to joining SM because he was an exchange student at Yonsei University. He was recruited while living in Korea, after failing JYP auditions in 2008 (thank god tbh). Lu Han is known for laughing in a really ugly manner (example) and also for looking like a newborn babe even though he’s the one of the oldest members of EXO (example).

Kris (Birthday: November 6, 1990)

Kris is the leader of EXO-M and is also in charge of rap. He recently gained some singing parts because SM finally realized he’s a better singer than he is a rapper (receipts: one two three). He’s especially useful to EXO because he speaks four languages fluently: English, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, and Cantonese. He learned English during his time in Canada; he lived in Vancouver from ages 10 to 17 when he left to start training for SM. He originally wanted to be a professional basketball player but obviously that didn’t happen because he’s shaking his ass on stage now so... Kris also has several aliases for reasons unknown -- Li Jiaheng, Kevin Li (his English name), Wu Yifan, Wu Fan, Kris Wu -- but it’s widely accepted that his birthname is Wu Fan... AMENDED: he goes by Wu Yifan; he signed an autograph for a fan as Wu Yi Fan... despite the fact that his name while living in Canada was Kevin Li. But I digress. Kris is also an artist -- here is a dragon, some kind of four-legged creature, an alligator (???), and... I don’t know, I give up. He’s a real jack-of-all-trades, this one.

Suho (May 22, 1991)

Suho, real name Kim Joonmyun, is the leader of EXO-K, and also one of the vocalists. He trained the longest of all of the EXO members -- a whopping seven years -- which means he joined SM at age 16. He was discovered in the SM Casting System (scouting) and joined the company in 2006. He was in Super Junior’s movie Attack of the Pinup Boys and was also in DBSK’S HaHaHa Song music video with Kai and Chanyeol. He goes to school for acting right now. Oh, and he’s really sexy and also very generous.

Lay (Birthday: October 7, 1991)

Lay, born Zhang Yixing, is EXO-M’s lead dancer. He got his start as a child actor in China where he did commercials and made appearances on variety shows there. He joined SM in 2008 after passing auditions in his hometown of Changsha. He was Jonghyun’s dance replacement on SHINee’s first arena tour back in 2011. He can play the guitar and the piano.

Baekhyun (Birthday: May 6, 1992)

Byun Baekhyun is one of the lead singers in EXO-K. He was in a band in high school prior to joining SM, and was actually in the midst of preparations for his college entrance exams for music school when he was recruited through the SM Casting System. Baekhyun is notorious for a few predebut videos that he recently said he wants deleted because they’re embarrassing but that’s never going to happen because they’re also funny as fuck. These videos include the Light Switch Dance, which he recreated on Boom’s Youngstreet just a while ago and a video of him doing hapkido, which he is classically trained in. There’s also one of him singing a song with one of his friends.

non-fanfic, exo
