Why don't you get it clean all the first time?

...Because digital mastering was too expensive at the time?

So, I hadn't mentioned this yet :

Wasted Talent Records has a website, and they're taking orders.
Being the utter Judy's fanboy that I am, I placed an immediate order for a combo pack that arrived yesterday. And being an Apple fanboy, I'm well aware of the tradition of unboxing porn. So...

Here's the shipping box - not too much to note, except that IT'S WASTED TALENT! ON MY DOORSTEP! OH MY GOD!

The lovely packing...

The Wasted Talent cargo manifest, with its promises of a better tomorrow!

Wasted Talent appreciates my patronage!

The dating on the catalog leads me to wonder what might come up later on - live album, perhaps? Rescue of lost dogs? (I WANT A PRISTINE COPY OF THE TRACK "SPACE AGE", frex.)

Interesting note - Danger Boy is NOT on here.

This kinda leads me to hope for a CD single of "Girl of 1000 Smells" down the line...

...And we get to the good stuff.

Well.
After years and years and years, the wait is over.

I do wish there were more liner notes - I almost wonder if I'm gonna be double-dipping in a year for a new edition with more information. ('Cause if they put one out, you KNOW I'd be on it in a minute.)

Blasting a newly-remastered "Milk" at high volume on the stereo is... a good thing. (Also, the lightbulb crashes at the end of "Joey the Mechanical Boy" are clear as can be. Yum.)

Likewise "Keep Breathing". Wow. That sounds REALLY good.

Not much to say abut this one - as much as I like some of the tracks on it, it wasn't part of THE body of works for so long.

Yay!

I got a 2XL, which means that I misjudged - this is gonna hang on me like a sheet. But I don't care - I have one to wear now.

Love it...

Also, found a well-made mini-documentary about the band on YouTube - certainly worth a look as well.
