Life has been fairly uneventful since the last update. The teaching is still going well and I'm still enjoying it. I have arranged a date for my prelim defense (April 15); assuming that goes well, I will be "ABD" (All But Dissertation) and in good shape for the next couple of years. You forgot to mention that we hooked up my computer to the tv so that we would watch the webisodes for BattGal before Season 3

Good call. That was pretty cool.

Battlestar Galactica, Season 2.5 Webisodes: Not bad, they showed that you could do an entertaining BatGal storyline with a small budget. I was annoyed though that they didn't really do anything with the new characters created for the webisodes in the first ep of Season Three, but I'll keep looking for that stuff to be brought up again. I also thought that the ones that were only 2-3 minutes were too brief to really do much. The longer ones (i.e., 5 minute eps) were able to do much more.
