Carvel Ice Cream Mascot
Beth thinks I'm insane. Or rather, she knows I am. But anyway, I swear to you that there is a voice in the Akon song "Don't Matter" that sounds just like the Carvel ice cream cake mascot's voice from the 1980s. Anyone remember that little guy? He was some kind of alien, possibly made out of ice cream, or maybe he just really liked to eat ice cream. It's possible that this was an ad campaign local to Virginia only rather than a national one, but I doubt it. In any case, Beth has never seen the little guy and I can't find any pictures or sound files of his (its?) voice. Can anyone confirm or deny that such a creature existed? It has apparently been purged from all official Carvel propaganda materials.
